M. Chen lab received funds from NIH for purchasing a new confocal microscope for the UCR Imaging Core.

M. Chen lab received $155,000 supplemental funds from NIGMS to contribute to the purchase of a state-of-the-art Zeiss LSM880-Airyscan confocal microscope for the UCR Imaging Core.  We deeply appreciate the support from NIGMS. This is a joint grant application with two other NIGMS-supported PIs, Xuemei Chen and Zhenbiao Yang. Many thanks to the support from Vice Chancellor Michael Pazzani. This new confocal will greatly enhance our research as well as the research of many other cell biology labs at UCR.
